an unexpected turn of events:

hunger, the throbbing pain in his gut was telling him only one thing, the fact that he hadn't had a morsel to eat in 3 days. He looked high and low in his little apartment but despair  for he was alone and there was nothing to eat. The only way out was to go outside and find something to eat. But should he risk it. All through the morning and evening the new channels kept showing the same unnerving news, A mystery serial killer in their area, killing random people. Everyone was cautioned to stay in doors and keep there loved ones close. Men and women, old and young had flocked to the supermarket to stock up on food and reserves before the mandatory 4 day curfew. "Curses", He thought, as the pangs in his stomach grew louder and more painful. when it became unbearable, he got up and sneaked out of his house. "What is the most could happen?", he thought as he starting treading the familiar route leading to the park from where the supermarket was just a couple of blocks afar. however after a couple of minutes walking on the desolate, empty streets he felt something was wrong. He could sense a shadowy figure stalking him. Hunger may be one thing but he certainly wasn't gonna die today, thinking this he started to walk briskly and to his horror the shadowy figure also accelerated his prowl. it was like a beast stalking his prey, a slow cunning chase to the death, the target locked and chased. the brisk walking turned to full on flight as he starting to dash back to his abode, running with everything he had towards his home."this is end for me", he kept thinking again and again as he dashed for dear life. It was lucky that he left the door unlocked, saving him precious seconds as he dashed inside and his in his room.

The policeman giving chase called for backup before dashing inside the house, and fought to stifle a scream. in-front of him was a small sneaker drenched with the blood of its last possessor, a little further along he spotted the half eaten, bloody remains of a doctor, his blue scrubs soaked in red, coagulated blood, giving off a stench. He turned around just in time to catch a glimpse of the person he was pursuing before a cloth of sweet smelling chemical was smacked over his mouth, making him dizzier by the minute.

it was difficult, it was reckless, had he been caught, it would've been the end of his game. However as he smiled, twisted the police officers neck and caressed his cheek there was only one thing on his mind. "No more hunger, it is time to feast"

Virtual Rant: How in the age of um-employment, employers are losing basic human values.

First rant of the new blog, excited amongst all the rage. Anyways a bit of background before the rant, im currently unemployed, (just graduated so its not that big a shocker) and going through the vicious cycle that all recently graduated people go through.

See new job post ---> think about applying ---> Write a cover letter describing yourself ---> Send the CV/resume.

wait for a reply                                            |
                                                                   |

still waiting for a reply.

It gets to a point when you start to doubt if the proverbial phone with ever ring. Mind you, i have a previous job experience, I sent the email in june 2012, checked my email constantly for 2 weeks, gave up and then almost lost the job opportunity when i discovered the employer had contacted in september 2012 and given me a 3 day response time. Call it my luck but i still landed the job because apparently no one applied for it (Being the only applicant is so awesome). Fast forward a year to november 2013, i was woke up from a peaceful sleep and a beautiful dream ( I won masterchef 2020 and was being handed my cook book deal by Gordon Ramsey <3 ) when i was woken up by my brother yelling "you have a phone call, you have a phone call". On the other end was a guy who started off by saying "So we recieved your email and your resume and we are very impressed. We would like you to work for us". My response simply was "When did i send you the resume". Im pleased he at least sounded apologetic when he replied "2 months ago. Anyways, we would like you to send us a sample paper on the following topics, as soon as possible. limited seats, we want you at our company, yada yada yada". Being the overachiever that i am, i hung up, dashed to my computer to create a content article worthy of a job offer and sent it. Flash forward 2 weeks and i'm still waiting for a response.

Call me old fashioned but if i send out a job request and people actually deem it respectable enough to apply there skills and time, the LEAST i could do is check whether the people are to the standard of the company and the task at hand and if they are not, tell them as soon as possible so they wont keep a hope to there hearts that they still have a chance. Let them off the hook so they can start looking for another area and better establish there time. As an employer is believe its courtsy. But looks like in fast lane era, we are losing this courtsy as well.

Mental note to self: If i ever become the restauranter that i want to be (Hope your listening God, Ameen), personally check applicants and issue acceptance/rejection within a week.

In the end, i wanna wish all those who read the entire rant, a very very happy week. Thank you for listening to me. here is something for you :3

What FPL: managers say

With the premier league starting again, its that time of the week, the day before weekend, the time when managers hop on to there computers and contemplate just which player to cut away from there prestine point winning teams and here are just some of the things you can normally hear.

I BOUGHT OZIL!! (its mostly going to be arsenal fans)"Sure he's worth 10 grand but he will be worth it!!"
My reaction: "Mate he's injuried and wont play."

Wilshere is so cheap, and he's such an arsenal legend!!My reaction:

What do you mean no one got the assist for that own goal!!I Dont care if the keeper spilled it on to his own player, someone should get an assist!!

i have too many players in my team that wont play. should i use my wildcard?

Van Persie is costing me so much money yet does fuck all!

I bought sturridge and giroud! there bound to score goals!
i changed my captain at the last second and he scored a hat trick!

Apparently all my defenders are playing each other. This is me praying for a 0-0 draw

WHAATT!! I got only 21 points, even after i used my wildcard

"After 4-5 weeks" FPL is lame!! *never checks team again until next season*

why fellaini is a much needed transfer for Manchester United

Lets not try to cover up the facts, Manchester united were appalling in the 2013-14 summer transfer window. United were linked with a whole host of targets for the summer yet they could not manage to bring the players David Moyes wanted to focus his team around. Believed to have wanted two new midfield targets, a strong hard tackler that can win the ball in the middle of the park along with a creative skilled midfielder capable of launching attacks and picking up the runs of the attacking forwards, David Moyes wanted to create him own three man midfield with the above mentioned players to partner the excellent Michael Carrick. Moyes must be disappointed that he was only able to get his former player marouane fellaini. However Fellaini is just the kind of player that manchester united has needed for so long in midfield.
Manchester united were never truly able to replace Roy keane, a hard tackling, no nonsense Central midfielder with great vision and creativity although they did come close (if only owen hargreaves could have stayed injury free) and as a result of this lack of steel in midfield, United have suffered with losing possession easily and getting over run. Mostly all Major teams always utilize a strong presence in midfield that can tackle, intercept and win the ball back for their creative players, Ramirez for chelsea, Lucas for liverpool, yaya toure for city, arteta for arsenal etc. However Fellaini is the first real midfield signing in quite some time for united and its been a breath of fresh air that the depleted midfield was finally targeted for improvement (with fletcher out of an unknown period of time the only real First team center midfield players United possess are Carrick, cleverly, anderson. *real means natural position as CM and not converted like Ryan giggs).
its is undeniable that Fellaini is real presence in midfield capable of changing the course of the game. More then once has Fellaini come to haunt his new club in the premier league. The 4-4 draw at old trafford in the 2011-2012 season was considered the point when Manchester united lost the title and again fellaini came to drown Manchester united in the opener of the next season when he scored the winner and the only goal in 1-0 home win against the eventual champions. He also scored crucial goals against arsenal, manchester city and fulham in everton’s bid to secure European football.
Fellaini’s height and strength makes him an excellent target man, capable of holding the ball and bringing other players in play. He is a creative player when playing in an offensive position capable of picking out players and launching counter attacks. And the most important thing that comes with this signing is that Fellaini himself says that his best position is as a defensive Midfielder. That leaves michael carrick to venture forward and pick out players with his long range passing ability and not be concerned with defensive duties.
Whatever the transfer farce united faced this summer, some good came of it at least and i believe fellaini will add a lot to the current manchester united squad and the stats don’t lie.
Marouane Fellaini stats from last Season:
Total appearances: 31
Goals scored: 11 (only Shinji Kagawa scored more then 2 from manchester united’s midfield)
Chances created: 40
Avg Passing accuracy: 79%
Header won: 60% (151/276, in comparison Center back Ryan shawcross won 95 of 157 headers).
Here is to hoping Fellaini can reach his full potential and shine in both the premier league and the champions league.

Urge

Urges!! Yikes, Even the word brings taboo thoughts into mind (or its just me and im cuckoo in the head) but its normal. Everyone has urges, an urge to dig into a steaming hot plate of your favorite meal, an urge to just say "Fudge it!!" and go to sleep, an urge to just leap out of that blanket of fear and maybe, just maybe ask that wonderful girl out that you have a crush on.

I've been away from this blog for a long time. To be honest life was so complicated these past couple of months that i felt the need to shirk away from everything. The word Emotionally distant and unavailable suits the situation perfectly. and it has been all that time until today. When i finally had the URGE to write again, to write whats new, whats happening, basically an urge to put what im feeling on a piece of paper (technically not a piece of paper but you catch my drift don't you :) ). There's something about seeing the thoughts that are bugging you in writing that makes you realize that the things messing with you are very real. And they are meant to be shared. Keeping them to yourself wont help anything because it leaves you dealing with dilemma's from only your point of view. Maybe when told to another person, you can find a better solution.

So here is today's task for the readers (if any :P ). Find that one thought or thing that is bothering the heck out of you, Call your best friend, work collegue that you trust, a sibling, a parent, or even i pet ( the most sense i've made to myself have been talking to my pet dog about the little things that were bothering me and yes i know i sound crazy but hear me out ) and just let it out. Everything, it wouldnt hurt to get a little teary too :3 Helps lower blood pressure (YES!!! Solid tip). You will feel like i million bucks to get that off your chest.

I'll hopefully write a lot more on a lot of different topics. So keep watching this space.

Hope you guy and girls keep loving life
